Consolidated Rutile Limited is exploring the opportunity of expanding its business by selling sand from some of its mining leases at Enterprise Mine, located at the southern end of North Stradbroke Island. Moving forward, this is an exciting new opportunity that we are pursuing to expand our business and to diversify the types of activities that CRL is involved in. Sustainability is a major part of our current and future operations and we are committed to ensuring the social and economic prosperity of the North Stradbroke Island community after our mineral sand operation is complete in about 17 years. This project will open doors into new markets with new opportunities. We are in the process of preparing applications to gain approval for the project. It has been necessary for us to create a new company to launch this business. We have called it Queensland Construction Materials Pty Ltd (QCM) and it is a wholly owned CRL company. There are no other parties who have interests in it (other than our shareholders), and all the people who are working to get this business off the ground are CRL employees or contractors.
