Enviromental Working Group
CRL has an Environmental Working Group (EWG) to regularly update and raise awareness among our government, regulatory and local community stakeholders of CRL’s best practice environmental management programs and the impact changes to environmental regulations have on our operations.
CRL has a strong track record in progressive rehabilitation and is a world leader in developing cutting-edge mine site rehabilitation programs to secure the island’s long-term self sustainability.
We are passionate about sharing our knowledge and educating the communities in which we work, which is why we are committed to communicating our environmental performance in an open and honest manner.
Since 2005 CRL has regularly held Environmental Working Group meetings on North Stradbroke Island to allow all stakeholders to be updated and have input on the company and it’s processes.
